Faith West has changed its name to Moderati, a move to tie the company more closely with its Modtones brand.
"Moderati has a great ring to it, and it better reflects our personality and consumer orientation," company president Carolynne Schloeder said. The name Faith West was adopted as a way to stay connected to its parent company Faith Inc. in Japan. The company used the established name to gain a foothold in the U.S. wireless entertainment market. Schloeder says, however, that the Modtones brand has "achieved a high level of recognition" over the past few years.
